The Spireites will kick-off of their pre-season campaign with three friendly matches this coming week.
The first game is against Sheffield FC on Tuesday night (7.30pm) at their Coach & Horses ground in Dronfield.
That is followed by visits to Derbyshire neighbours Matlock Town and Buxton on Thursday and Friday respectively.
The Vertu Toyota Cup will be contested at Matlock while the GF Tomlinson Group Cup will be up for grabs at Buxton. Both those matches also kick-off at 7.30pm.
Manager Gary Caldwell says that everyone is looking forward to the games, adding: “Although I’d love to get good results, I don’t see the pre-season friendlies as important to win. It’s more about getting the hours in as a squad.
“The players are doing brilliantly in training and have shown a great attitude towards their work.
"We have done a lot of work on the physical side to help them get through a long hard season and they have been working hard."
If there are any further additions to the squad over the next few days, Caldwell does not expect them to feature in match action straight away.
He said: “I don’t think any further signings will be involved as they have a lot of catching up to do.
"The players have been putting a shift in and it is important to me that they have all had roughly the same amount of training."
