Venue – Kenilworth Road
Kick off 7.45pm

Tickets for this evening’s match are now off sale at the Proact ticket office.

However, Spireites supporters can pre-order tickets from the Luton Town ticket office and collect them at Kenilworth Road.

Full details of how to order tickets can be found here. Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, while tickets for U16s are free.

Form Guide

Luton will be hoping to avoid a second cup exit in three days, following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup.

The Hatters are currently eighth in Sky Bet League Two, one point outside the playoff places. Their recent form has been mixed however with three defeats, two victories and one draw in their last six matches.

Chesterfield on the other hand have won just one of their last six matches, with the most recent defeat coming at Bradford City last Saturday. A match that saw the end of Danny Wilson’s reign as manager.

The Spireites however do have a good record in this competition with three victories from their four fixtures so far.

Away from the Proact the Spireites have beaten Crewe Alexandra in the group stage, while in the last round they beat Rochdale 2-0 thanks to goals from Laurence Maguire and Ched Evans.

Team News

Luton boss Nathan Jones has vowed to play a strong side for the fixture and will be able to call on the services of James Justin who has recovered from a knee injury suffered at the Wham Stadium. Jones however will be without Akin Famewo who has tendonitis.

The Spireites will be without both Tom Anderson and Dion Donohue for the match through suspension, otherwise caretaker manager Ritchie Humphreys has a full squad to choose from.

If the scores are level after 90 minutes then the tie will be decided by a penalty shoot-out, there will not be any extra time played.
