Spireites legend Dave Waller will make his debut as a matchday host in the DCJ Group Spires Restaurant for tomorrow's game against Bury.

After signing from Shrewsbury Town in 1987, Dave scored 53 goals in 119 league appearances for Chesterfield during a four-year spell. Commenting on his new role, Dave said: "I'm looking forward to being involved with the club again and I'll be doing my best to help ensure that guests have an enjoyable day."

Dave will be joined on matchdays by Debra Johnson, who is a familiar figure to regular guests in the DCJ Group Spires Restaurant.

Another former Chesterfield star, Bob Newton, previously carried out matchday host duties, but his work schedule means he is unable to commit to the role on a regular basis. Bob may return to make occasional appearances as a host in the future.
