Academy Team of the Module 4 U9, U10 and U12

After some busy weeks of games and training the coaches choose their academy team of the module.

U9

Owen Geale

Owen has returned from the Christmas break with a great attitude towards training and games and this has shown with the performances he has put in and how fast he has developed over the module. He has shown ability to be in possession of the ball in high pressure situations and be able to get out of them creatively. He has shown his attacking ability particularly dribbling skills, passing skills and knowing when and where to stay on the ball highlighted with 9 goals in 1 game, which rounded of an excellent module for Owen. 

Alex Hazeldine

Alex has been excellent this module, he has shown the ability he has to play all different types of passes over all different distances accurately and with good weight. As well as this he has shown a drive to improve and play well in games, resulting in him chipping in with some goals as well. 

U10 

Ryan Holmes

Ryan has developed a lot over the last couple of weeks adding to his already impressive shot stopping skills. Vocally he has now began to organise and encourage his tea mates keeping himself in the game and sharp for when he s called into action. Ryan has also shown excellent distribution remaining calm and composed with the ball at his feet to help start a number of attacking moves. There has also been a number of outstanding saves meaning he is the first Gk in the academy to be selected for the team of the module. Well done Ryan

Johnny Davies

Great module for Johnny being a stand out in every game with his ability to remain on the ball even under severe pressure. Johnny has use a number of feints and skills to drive with possession with both feet getting out of tight situations and breaking lines to assist and score a number of goals. This combined with his work rate to win the ball back has meant he deserves his place in the Team of the module

U11

Mason Ryan

Mason has been one of the best for module 4 due to his ability to find angles to receive the ball and play forward effectively or retain since joining the academy at the start of the module he has settled in well and improved week by week adding a number of assists and goals the team over the course of the module great start to academy football.

Harry Clarke

Harry has been one of the best for Module 4 due to his ability to take pictures and maintain the ball well whilst under pressure. He has shown an excellent attitude to learning

U12

Benjamin Hardman

Benjamin works hard off the ball. He loves a tackle and is prepared to throw himself into block shots. In possession he shows great composure. He runs beyond the striker and scores goals. He can score different types of goals.

Mason Bridden

Mason is a great defender. He loves a tackle and is an excellent organiser. He is selfless in his approach. In possession he is controlled and composed. A superb performance against Doncaster.
