Academy Team of the Module 4 U13, U14, U15 and U16

27 February 2017

After some busy weeks of games and training the coaches choose their academy team of the module.

U13

Lewis Scorer

Both showed good understanding of the module. Looked to moved and switch the ball in to good areas. Did not force passes and retained the ball well.Lewis broke the lines quickly and linked in with the midfield to get us on quick attacks.

Ben Morris

Ben made effective runs in behind and from out to in. Brought other players in to the attack when faced with a defensive overload, and found our wide players

U14

Tom Wood

Hard work and consistency across the module. Has shown good quality of passing over various distances. Forward runs with and without the ball to support the attack, in which he has provide assists.

Ant Baker

Hard working and better focused through the module. Improved awareness of positioning and space to receive. Improved in quality of support play. Good dribbling skills 1v1, better use of feints.

U15

Brandon Bradbury

Whilst being one of the best finishers in the U15s group, Brandon has excelled in a midfield role during this module. He has shown an amazing work ethic and worked very hard! His passing skills have been on show and the weight of pass into the final this is often spot on. Brandon has been outstanding for the U15s and played very well when moved up to the U16s as well - keep up the hard work!

Will Russ

Will has come on a lot during this module and is consistently getting himself into positions to score goals. He has grown in confidence on and off the pitch and it really shows in his performances. He has had some great performances playing up with the U15s but then gone on to recreate that form with the U16s. He has shown incredible work rate and commitment!

U16

Luke Rawson

Luke has been in fantastic form since returning from Christmas break. He has scored a hat trick and a brace as well as playing well for the youth team also. His overall play has gotten even better, bringing others in well with smart and intelligent play. A really good module for Luke.

Jack Holmes

Jack arrived at Christmas and has made a great impact on the team. He has offered a new dimension to the midfield and he has shown the ability to be part of the build up play as well as driving forwards supporting the attack. He enjoys to tackle and has helped the team defensively also. He has been a really positive addition to the group both on and off the field and we believe we may have a promising players on our hands as he progresses in his time with us at the Academy.
