Anti-social Behaviour & Pitch Incursions

20 December 2017

Action has been taken against three spectators who have contravened the English Football League’s Ground Regulations.

One spectator has been placed on a fixed-term club ban for pitch encroachment during a recent home fixture.

Pitch encroachments can have serious financial repercussions for the club. The club has been fined in relation to this issue in the past. We do not, as a club, wish to introduce any permanent gates or barriers to the pitch-side perimeter.

WE APPEAL TO ALL SPECTATORS TO REFRAIN FROM ENTERING THE FIELD OF PLAY

Your co-operation in this matter will uphold the club’s reputation.

Two other spectators have been issued fixed-term club bans for anti-social behaviour issues at the same fixture.

The club will not tolerate behaviour from supporters that reflects badly on the club’s image and endangers the safety of staff, players, officials and spectators.

The club wants all spectators to enjoy the matchday experience and would like to thank supporters for their continued support and co-operation.
