Fans who donated money on 'Bring a £1 for the Trust Day' have been thanked by the Community Trust for their generosity.
A collection was made at last Saturday's final home game of the season, against Charlton Athletic, raising a total of £557.86 for the Community Trust. The money will be used to support the relaunch of the Trust’s disability programme, which was unfortunately stopped last year due to funding restraints.
Trust chief executive John Croot expressed his gratitude to Spireites supporters, saying: "The generosity shown on Saturday towards the Bring a £1 for the Trust initiative has incredible.
"We will now invest the money donated into relaunching a disability programme, which is an area we are keen to expand on. We deliver sessions every week to a variety of participants throughout Chesterfield and north Derbyshire."
