Information received from South Yorkshire Police ahead of the Sheffield United vs Chesterfield match on Sunday, April 30, 12pm.
There will be NO escort of Coaches by South Yorkshire Police to the Bramall Lane, Stadium or Rendezvous point as seen in previous seasons.
South Yorkshire Police advise to travel via the M1 to Junction 33 and then use the A630 / A57 Parkway into the City Centre.
From the Park Square roundabout following the A61 past the Railway Station.
Following the A61 inner ring road (St Mary Roads) bearing right and travel to the roundabout junction with Bramall Lane, (Decathlon Store on your right, St Mary’s Church on your left).
Enter Bramall Lane from the City end, where you will be met and directed by Stewards and allocated parking etc.
Please ensure you allow extra travel time due to this being a sell-out fixture.
The area will be extremely busy on match day especially around Bramall Lane, the SUFC stadium and City Centre with potential traffic delays encountered.
It is also advisable NOT to travel via Meadowhead, Woodseats and Heeley areas of Sheffield to avoid any further traffic delays.
Please also bear in mind the arrangement agreed between the respective clubs regarding Chesterfield FC supporters exchanging tickets outside the stadium; turnstiles 13 – 15 prior to any entry into the away section.
Chesterfield FC supporters have been relocated into the South East Corner, Lower Tier, Westfield Health Stand.
The 600 CFC ticket allocation has now sold out with NO pay on the day available on Sunday.
