After seven years at the Proact, Club Superstore manager Maureen Patrick retired today.

Commenting on her retirement, Maureen said: “I would just like to say a big thank you to all of my colleagues, the playing staff, the coaching staff and all of the fans for the lovely gifts that I have received and the time that I have spent here.

“I have received cards, flowers wine and staff at the club have given me money. My favourite player, Dion Donohue, came and gave me a signed shirt and I have had many, many other gifts from both the club and supporters.

“I did not expect anything at all but I have been overwhelmed by the gifts that both the club and the supporters have given me, together with the well-wishes and lovely words that everybody has said to me.

“I have had a lovely time at Chesterfield Football Club and I wish everybody here all the very best for the future. Don’t worry, I will still be coming to the club as a Spireite because I have always been a Spireite and I always will be.”

We would like to thank Maureen for her excellent service over the years and wish her all the very best for the future!
