14 April 2017

Here is the academy team of the module 5 for the U13-16 age groups.

U13

Ben Morris

Ben's work rate and commitment has been outstanding in this module. He has a great goal ratio and is combining this with link up play and bringing other in to the final 3rd.Ben is showing good progress in his decision making and creates space for himself and others in the final 3rd by taking players away. His composure in front of goal is developing and is a constant threat to defences.

Kyrell Wheatley

Kyrell has moved up from U12's to the U13's, Kyrell has  fitted in with the group well and also shown great progress in his player development. Kyrell is combining well with the front two from wide areas and linking in with play well. He is showing good decision making of when to exploit space and when to pass. He also cuts in well from wide areas and drives forward in to the 18 yard box causing defenders problems.

U14 Ben Blythe

Strong performances at centre back, working hard throughout the module. Improved his further distance passing and awareness of passing priorities.

Olly Papworth

Consistent work ethic providing excellent movement to receive. Combination play improved which allow him to score and create several goals this module.

U15 Callum Warmsley

Callum has been in fantastic form these past several weeks, both in training and games. Not only has been dominant defensively, he has shown an ability to dictate play from the back, playing some excellent diagonal balls to create goals. As well as this he has been driving out with the ball with such quality and composure. He has been every bit the modern central defender this past module.

Chad Gibson

A positive change in mentality, willing to work hard for the benefit of the team.Chipped in with plenty of goals and assists and began to kickstart his performance levels in the academy.

U16 Teddy Marris

Teddy has been very good this past module, making some excellent saves and dominating his area positively. His communication has been very good, providing the team leadership and organisation.
Jamie Sharman

Jamie has returned back to his dominant best and been a rock for the team both in central midfield and defence. His defensive quality to tackle, head and intercept has helped the team go un beaten for five games. As well as this he has shown excellent feet and dribbling skills as well as showing he is able to control games and dictate play.
