Ritchie Humphreys had a taste of life under the TV lights at the weekend as he represented the Spireites on Football on 5's weekly highlights programme.
Fresh from the Spireites' late 2-1 loss at AFC Wimbledon the player-coach was whisked to the Football on 5 studio to give his view on the game and the other from across Sky Bet League 1 and 2.
"It was very interesting," said Humphreys. "I've done similar things before at more of a local level, which i did a lot of for the BBC when I was in the north-east. This was a great opportunity to go on a national show and review the goals.
"It's very difficult after your own side's lost as you're not in a great mood to start off with but it was a opportunity for me to speak as a player-coach here, as well as the chairman of the PFA to go and speak about Leagues One and Two.
"I'm not sure if it's a career move I'd like to make, I enjoy doing it. It's called a 'live record', with the aspects of it being as though it's live without much time to edit. That gives a pressure about getting it right first time.
"Also you see the goals and try to analyse them a bit before you go on air and I enjoyed the whole experience."
