As a result of feedback from fans, the £1 booking fee on ticket purchases made online has been removed.
Explaining the decision, director & company secretary Ashley Carson said: "Following recent fans comments made to Chris Turner and I, we have taken the decision to remove the £1 booking fee on all website ticket purchases.
"The negative comments received are totally justified and although Toptix make a charge for 'printing at home', this will now be absorbed by the club.
"We would like to encourage fans to purchase tickets online. We have a very small ticket office team and we hope that this gesture helps.
"There will also be no increase on matchday tickets purchased via the internet on matchdays."
This change will take effect from today and include the Sheffield United online ticket sales, which are going live this evening. Tickets for all matches can be bought here.
