After the disappointment of their FA Youth Cup exit on Tuesday night, the youth team return to action away to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday (11am kick-off).
The young Spireites lost 2-1 after extra time to Carlisle United at the Proact in midweek, but academy manager Mark Smith believes his side will bounce back quickly.
"I don't think it's a case of picking them up," he said. "Young players are young players and they soon get over disappointment. Really, what we've tried to do over the last couple of days is to analyse the game.
"We looked at it and we found that we played a little bit better than we thought we had. We had well over 30 opportunities in the game and you're not doing too much wrong if you dominate a game to that extent and create chances.
"What we've said is that we need to be a little bit more clinical, that applies to everybody, we need to make better decisions and we need to be better at finishing. These are technical things that we can work on.
"We've done a lot of finishing, plenty of combination play and they seem to be in good spirits. It's been short and sharp as we look forward to Doncaster - and it's a game we think we can do well in."
Jay Smith may miss out with a groin problem, but will be assessed ahead of the game, and the defender will join Jack Brownell on the sidelines if he isn't ready for the game.
