Club Lifts Matchday Ticket Price Increase

24 November 2016

Starting with Saturday's game with Bristol Rovers, there will no longer be an increase in ticket prices for Spireites home matches at the Proact.

Previously, tickets bought on matchday for home games carried a £2 price increase, aimed at encouraging fans to buy tickets early, but until the end of the season this levy has now been removed.

Chief executive Chris Turner explained the move: "This season we have seen more fans buying in advance, that's been really encouraging and we hope that continues. Fans can continue to buy their tickets online at no extra cost 24 hours a day.

"We also want to make matches accessible for fans on matchday, so if fans wake up on a Saturday morning and fancy coming along then we want to be welcoming to them too.

"We are constantly reviewing the way we sell tickets, so at the end of the season we will again look at things and see the best way to progress as a club."
