Gboly Ariyibi says his Spireites side can't focus too much on their flying Sheffield United opponents, but is looking to redress the balance after the loss to them last season.
With the Spireites desperate for points to stave off relegation in April, the Blades rolled into town and comfortably took the points back with them following a 3-0 Proact win.
Ultimately, the Spireites were able to defeat the spectre of the drop, but Ariyibi says the disappointment from the day lingers.
"It's a massive game, a massive derby," he said. " After the result last season it wasn't good at all - and with the position that we're in as well it's a big game and everybody knows that.
"They really battered us and it was pretty hard to take at half time. We're not even thinking about that too much. We've won two games now so we just need to keep building strongly."
Those two games came at Colchester United in the FA Cup and at Crewe Alexandra in the Checkatrade Trophy and while they have buoyed confidence Sunday's hosts need to pick up similar league form to move themselves away from a treacherous current sitting.
Ariyibi feels that the fans have an important role to play at a busy Proact for the game: "The atmosphere will be great, you saw that last season and we're all looking forward to it.
"They're doing very well, but we can't think about them too much. We're confident we can go in strong and with the fans behind us like they are every week we can do well."
