The Spireites reserve team face their latest challenge this Wednesday as they take on Rotherham United in an away match.
The match at the Millers' training ground (S62 6LA) kicks-off at 2pm and the Spireites are expecting to field a strong side for the Final Third Development League clash.
Ritchie Humphreys will again lead the side and commented on the game: "We're looking forward to it, we've been doing quite well of late. League tables and results aren't everything with the reserves but, as I keep saying, we want to get the lads used to winning games and what it means when they step up, that's the preparation you need.
"In terms of the team it will be very similar to what we played last week, Charlie Raglan will play again as we help his rehab towards full fitness.
"There will again be some blending between the pros and the second year youth team players who have been doing really well when they've stepped in."
Humphreys also spoke about the importance of the side sticking to their principles, but also having the ability to break teams down by a number of means.
He said: "We've got lads who need games and we feel that it's going to be competitive for us, regardless of who we play against because sometimes you're got to play in different ways.
"I thought last week with Scunthorpe's young team they set up very well in terms of how they wanted to stop us getting through them.
"The test for us then was to find other ways, we could have hit longer balls and put our strionger boys up front to try and bully our way through but that's not that way we want to play.
"There are always different ways to win games and essentially my job is to try and educate players in the way we want to play but also to find other ways to win games."
