With the summer kicking in perhaps you'll be off on a city break soon, Richard Kew's going to Amsterdam this weekend - and he's riding his bike there!

Richard will be representing the Spireites tomorrow and on Saturday as he joins the Football League's annual London to Amsterdam Cycle Challenge, all in aid of charity Prostate Cancer UK.

Today Richard's travelling down to London, where the challenge starts at the Olympic Park with 83 miles to ride on Friday, an overnight ferry and then 62 more miles to cover on Saturday as the peloton rides to the Ajax ArenA in Amsterdam.

What's more, Richard needs your help! He's already raised £1,250 towards his fundraising target of £1,500 and he'd love to get some further help from his fellow Spireites.

To donate to this worthy cause, head to Richard's Just Giving page here.

ProstateCancer UK are the official long term charity partner of the Football League and the second London to Amsterdam cycle challenge last June was hailed as a huge success with a squad of more than 150 riders helping raise over £200,000, for more information click here.
