Chesterfield continue their pre-season preparations with the short trip to Matlock Town on Tuesday night, with all fans welcome for the 7:30pm kick-off.
The Autoworld Stoneacre Cup - currently held by the Spireites after last year's win - will be up for grabs at the DCJ Group Insurance Arena with prices set at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, available on the turnstile.
The annual friendly is the Spireites' third of pre-season and follows their Proact bow against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Manager Danny Wilson revealed that he'd be putting out a strong team for the match, and has high hopes for a good performance from his squad.
"It's a game we're looking forward to and it's a game we expect to win," he said. "We'll have a number of first-team players out there and they'll be using the game as a chance to build fitness further and work on things we've looked at in training.
"There will also be a number of fringe players involved, looking to show what they can do against a good level of opposition."
Wilson was also keen to emphasise the importance of the Spireites' role working alongside local non-league clubs.
"It's important that a League club like Chesterfield helps out and plays matches with teams like Matlock, we can always do a lot for each other in the local area, and that also goes for Ilkeston and Buxton who we have coming up in the next week or so.
"We'll all be hoping for a good gate and some money to be raised for Matlock on Tuesday and we'll wish them the best with their season.
"By keeping the local clubs close we can work together, and you never know, maybe one day Matlock will unearth a hidden gem who will go on to play for Chesterfield."
