Next up for the Spireites in pre-season are Derby County, coming to the Proact to honour Shane Nicholson, who played for both clubs.
Nicholson played for the Rams between 1992 and 1996 while the left-back had two spells as a player for the Spireites between 1998 and 2007 and after retirement joined the Chesterfield coaching staff as a fitness coach, a role he held until 2015.
Both home and away supporters can buy tickets for the match right up to kick-off from the Proact ticket office.
Tickets for the match are set at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
Both sides are expected to field sides consisting of first-team and squad players for the full 90 minutes - with the noted exception of the Spireites fielding Shane Nicholson himself for a stint in the second half.
From the Dugout
Ahead of the match, first-team coach Chirs Morgan spoke about what the management team are looking for from what promises to be a tough encounter.
"We're getting closer and closer to the season starting so certainly the minutes and game time are starting to get cranked up a little bit," he said. "Whichever team we pick for the game, we'll be looking for the players to do as long as they can.
"It's going to be very similar to the Sheffield Wednesday game in some ways, it's a little bit of roles revered. We've been to Matlock and Ilkeston where we've controlled the balls and the possession.
"We saw in the Sheffield Wednesday game and we'll see again against Derby, there will be times when we have to be patient and work at keeping our shape and discipline, when Derby are having good possession.
"Also, we want to use the game as a good exercise for us to go and press Derby whenever we can and try and get the tempo of our play up.
"Training over the last few days has changed to a more intense speed with the ball moving more quickly - now we want that to come out in the games."
