A similar Spireites squad featuring regular first-team players mixed with young and fringe players is expected to make the trip to South-East Derbyshire.
Ahead of the match, manager Danny Wilson expressed his pleasure with the fitness of his players - with attentions now starting to shift to match-fitness and readiness within the squad.
"The squad are doing very well," Wilson said." The fitness levels are up there where we're expecting them to be and there's not too much more intensity that's needed on a long-term basis, they've got a good base to their fitness now.
"Everything's now all about match practice, the type of games that we've had and have coming up are ideal. We've got different types of challenges in front of us, first in the non-league and then with high league opposition.
"It's important that all the players get a similar level of minutes on the pitch as part of the process of building up to the match against Oxford United on the first day of the season."
Wilson also pointed out that certain members of his squad are unexpectedly pushing themselves towards the first team: "There are also people throwing down markers as well for that first game and whether they'll be selected in the first 11.
"There have been one or two that have risen to the challenge in pre-season, it's been great and now it's up to the other players on the fringes to come with the same attitudes to vie for a place when the season starts.
"Competition is always good and healthy and in that respect I'm pleased with what I've seen."
