This week the club were happy to hear from recent devotees to the Spireites' cause as Marco and Francesco got in touch from Volpiano in Italy.

While the duo have yet to visit the Proact and see the Spireites in action, they hope to soon having learned about the club through a popular computer game.

Marco explains their path to fandom:

Our love for you began in a house in a little city near Turin, in Italy.

During a calm Sunday, Marco and Francesco, two kids (more precisely two cousins), started a soccer match on the PlayStation.

Sometimes destiny is strange, because the two cousins, pushed by a great desire to start a long and difficult adventure, chose an English team for their career, it was the Chesterfield team.

From that moment, our life changed.

Our Chesterfield passion has increased and our computer careers took us to win the Champions League with this team.

Obviously, this is a soccer virtual game, this is unreal...

...but we would love to come to Chesterfield and see a match. At this moment, it is a dream...but dreams never die...

We hope so Marco, and you will be made very welcome by all at the Proact if you are ever able to come!
