Armand Gnanduillet Joins Leyton Orient

22 January 2016

Striker Armand Gnanduillet has departed the Proact Stadium to join Sky Bet League 2 side Leyton Orient for an undisclosed fee.

The Ivorian joined the Spireites in 2013 after a successful trial and went on to score ten goals in 84 league appearances for Chesterfield, and was part of the side that lifted the League Two trophy in 2013/14.

Chesterfield chief executive Chris Turner paid tribute to Gnanduillet: "Armand always gave his best for Chesterfield and we saw on several occasions the qualities he can bring onto the field.

"There was interest from a number of clubs for Armand and we felt it was right to allow him to leave as we were unable to guarantee him first team football.

"We wish Armand all the best in his career and thank him for his efforts with our club."
