The youth team travel to Lincoln City tomorrow morning looking to recover from their Burton Albion defeat last time out.
The game kicks-off at 11am at Ashby Avenue.
The young Spireites had been on a good run of form previous to the 2-0 reverse and academy manager Mark Smith has a positive feeling ahead of the Imps clash.
He said: "The kids have been excellent this week in training and we're hoping that everything is gearing up for a good performance at Lincoln City and a good result.
"Lincoln are doing really well this season in the league, so we know it's going to be a tough game - not least as I know they always play with a lot of spirit.
"They have a never-say-die attitude and we're going to have to go there and overcome that first before we can start playing."
Smith has a trio of injuries to deal with for the game. Striker George Milner has a dead leg and misses out, Tom Jarrald is likely to be out for two to three weeks with an ankle strain and Martell Daswell has been out for three days already with tonsillitis.
