The signing of Tom Anderson on loan from Burnley completed a trio of transfer deadline day deals for the Spireites.
Anderson, 22, will spend the rest of the season with Chesterfield. The 6’4” central defender is yet to make his debut for Burnley, but he has had several spells out on loan and made eight appearances for Carlisle United last season.
Chesterfield signed midfield pair Connor Dimaio and Gary Liddle earlier in the day. Dimaio, who was a free agent after leaving Sheffield United, agreed a deal until the end of the season while Liddle was captured on a long-term contract after being recruited from Bradford City for an undisclosed fee.
Commenting on the transfer activity, Spireites chief executive Chris Turner said: “I am very pleased with the business we have done before the transfer deadline. We have brought in three players who will strengthen the defensive and midfield areas of the squad.”
