Loan signing Tom Anderson gave his first Spireites interview to PlayerHD today and discuessed the role that manager Sean Dyche had in his arrival.
Dyche - a former Spireites captain - is now in charge at Burnley and was keen for his 22-year-old centre-back to go somewhere he knew.
"It was mentioned on Friday and then it all happened yesterday very quickly," Anderson said. "Over the weekend I was hoping it would get done but you never know what will happen.
"I know the manager (Sean Dyche) is a hero around here and he knows the club well and the good set-up. I think he wanted me to come to a club that he trusts.
"I've been trying to get out on loan and get some experience and the manager mentioned it to me yesterday and luckily it was able to happen."
Having already taken part in a day's training since arriving at the club this morning, Anderson revealed he is now raring to get his chance in the first team.
"There are a good bunch of lads here, you could see that from the training we've done today. They look good, organised and now I can't wait to get started.
"I hope to play, every boy at my age wants to get experience and develop as a player, hopefully I can get that and do my best for Chesterfield."
