Spireites Draw Luton Away in Checkatrade Trophy

The Spireites have been drawn to play away at Luton Town in the third round of this season's Checkatrade Trophy after Thursday morning's draw.

The game is due to be played in the week commencing January 9, 2017, with a confirmed date a ticket details to be announced in due course.

The Spireites secured their place in the third round with a 2-0 win away at Rochdale on Tuesday night, where goals from Laurence Maguire and Ched Evans saw the visitors through.

If the Spireites are able to make it through the third round they will face a fourth round and a one-legged semi-final if they are to make the Wembley final on April 2.
