Academy Team of the Module 3 U13-U16

After some busy weeks of games and training the coaches choose their academy team of the module.

U13

Lewis Austin-Scorer - Lewis has played really well this past six weeks. He's energy and determination has been fantastic, working exceptionally hard and making some great tackles. His decision making and influence on the team has really improved. 

Taylor Maxwell - Taylor's energy and work rate has been of a really high level in recent weeks. His commitment and determination in training and games has been a great example to the whole team. He has also shown good quality in his play, driving well with the ball with his speed and providing really positive moments in games

U14

Olly Papworth - Olly's attitude and commitment to the team has been excellent and he has really helped the team in recent weeks with his energy when pressing. As well as this he has scored some excellent goals, getting a really good hat-trick against Boston. Olly's positive energy and work rate a fantastic example to the other players in the team. 

James Whittaker - James has made significant strides forwards in this module and we've seen him move to a whole new level in terms of his performances. His speed and skill have made him a great threat on the wing and he has contributed goals and assists in all his games. He even played for the U16's versus York City where he set-up the winning goal. Really positive module for James.

U15

Brandon Bradbury - Brandon has provided both goals and quality with the ball playing both as a forward and midfielder in recent weeks. He has shown a level of desire and determination in his play which has been excellent to see. His work rate and energy in training and games has been consistently high and this has led to his positive performances in recent weeks. 

Ed Dawson - Ed has made significant improvements in his work rate this module and this has brought out more consistency in his play. He has been a key part of the build up play and helped the team play out and dominate possession really well. When he is focused he can be a very positive influence on the team and can be a strong leader. 

U16

Jamie Sharman - Jamie has been excellent since joining the Academy. He has been very dominant in his play, showing great strength and dominance as well as good quality. He has scored several goals and been a key member of the team in the last several weeks. 

Robbie Foster - Robbie has made significant strides forwards in recent weeks and his performances have been of a really high level. His work rate, attitude and determination have all improved and this has made him more effective as a player and has significantly helped the team. He has also scored a number of goals in recent weeks also. Notably versus Mansfield he scored four goals and got two assists.
