Mark Smith's youth team faces a journey to Oldham for their last game of the season, with some players out because of injuries and suspensions it is the time for the younger players to shine.
The most serious absence is Ricky German who scored both goals in the recent 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic.
In preparation for the match against Liverpool FC U21 next Tuesday Smith has decided to allow some other players a rest for the weekend fixture.
But the acadamy manager is all but unmotivated: "We want to finish a season with many ups and downs as well as we can.
"Our team tomorrow will be a lot different, we have two of the under 16s on the bench, but I am more than happy to go with the team we've got.
"We have players like Jack Brownell who comes back from an injury and Harry Taylor and George Lynam who didn't get as many games as they wanted due to the good performance, so they will all be highly motivated. I know the lads will give 100% to finish off the season with a win."
Brad Holmes misses the game as he's injured while Luke Randle continues his loan spell with Clipston FC.
