After the 150th anniversary kit was revealed last night - with sponsors G F Tomlinson - the Spireites players have been reacting to their new strip.
The design for the 2016/17 season was revealed to the public at Tuesday night's launch event at the Proact Stadium and captain Gary Liddle spoke about his latest uniform.
"I think certain players like the white and I'd be one of them who likes the white in strips," he said. "It's a lovely looking strip and I'm sure the lads are all looking forward to wearing it. Hopefully we can have some good times in it.
"It's a big year for the football club and it's a club that's had an historic past. If we can add to that next season then it will all be good."
Midfielder Angel Martinez also modelled the new shirt for the launch photos and said it gave him great pride to be a Spireite in such a special year for the club.
He said: "It's a pleasure to be here and an honour to wear the shirt, especially for the 150 years. All we can do is to do our best and make all the fans happy and proud. As players it is a privilege to play for the club.
"I can't wait to finish this season as well as possible and I'm looking forward to next season. I think this is going to be the shirt for us."
