RESERVES: Spireites Host Millers in Final Home Fixture

11 April 2016

Chesterfield host Rotherham United in their last home fixture of the Final Third Development League campaign on Tuesday afternoon at the Proact.

The 2pm kick-off is open for all supporters to attend FREE of charge, with the HTM Products West Stand open from 1:30pm.

With the Spireites fighting at the top of the league and hoping to claim the title this season ahead of challengers Notts County, Ritchie Humphreys is hoping for a win to increase the probability of overall success.

He said: "We've got just three games to go now and to be in with the chance of winning something is great. Football's about winning, so for the younger lads this is a great chance to get that winning feeling.

"Recently the progress has been positive and the mix of first team players with youth team players has worked really well.

"It's all a learning curve, especially for the younger lads, and the competitive nature of the games we've played in has been very beneficial."
