After getting started at home to Doncaster Rovers in early September, the Spireites' reserve team season comes full circle to finish away at Doncaster on Wednesday.

Kicking-off at 1pm, the Spireites travel to Doncaster Rovers' training ground at Cantley Park for the match, still in with a chance of winning the Final Third Development League East Division despite last week's home defeat to rivals Notts County.

The Magpies are a point behind Chesterfield, but have a game in hand with two games to complete their reserve season, both against Gateshead.

Ritchie Humphreys takes charge of the side for the match and commented on  the fixture: "Last week was disappointing but we have another opportunity on Wednesday to put things right against Doncaster.

"We want to finish strongly and the group of players we have involved will be fairly strong and going out there to get the best result possible.

"It's been a good season on the whole and plenty of positives have come out of it, so now it's up to us to end on a high."
