After Saturday's poor loss to Sheffield United skipper Gary Liddle says the Spireites need to quickly pick themselves up and get back to winning ways against Doncaster Rovers.
The match on Tuesday night (7:45pm kick-off) gives the Spireites squad an instant opportunity to get three more points in their battle to avoid relegation from League One.
Liddle explains that the key thing is to rapidly change the mindset: "We'll put it behind us as quickly as possible and look forward to the massive game on Tuesday, it might go down as a six-pointer now and we need to make sure that we come out on the right side of that one.
"It could be difficult with the magnitude of Saturday's game and losing the bragging rights but it's important we do put it behind us and it's the last thing that we said in the dressing room, that the quicker we do that the better."
With the pressure on at the Proact and Chesterfield as desperate for the points as their South Yorkshire rivals, Liddle says that he's looking forwards to the challenge.
"You should thrive in these games," he said. "I've played in many of them and I love it when there's a full house and the atmosphere's going. Some players get nervous, but everyone's different."
