Could you take on a near-4,000 mile cycle across America? That's exactly what James Kemp and Wayne Vaughan are doing this summer - raising money for Ashgate Hospicecare.
From the Golden Gate Bridge over the mountains in Colorado, under the famed Gateway Arch in St. Louis and past the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, it promises to be a breath-taking - and leg-sapping - ride across the States.
James, who is from Hundall, provided details of the pair's mammoth challenge: "We start on June 5 in San Francisco and go across to New Hampshire over two months - it's 3,800 miles in total.
Wayne, an Old Whittington resident, added: "It's a fair-sized challenge, the daily miles are not too demanding, about 80 miles a day on average, but it will be the accumulation of back-to-back days which is the concern, but I'm sure we'll be okay."
Better yet, the pair are raising money for the Spireites' official charity partner, and James explained the reasoning behind their choice of fundraising destination.
"We've both done stuff for the big national charities," he said. "But Ashgate is a bit more personal to us, we've both had friends there so it's good to help them out.
Wayne also commented: "It's all going to go to Ashgate Hospicecare and what we do need to specify is that any donations will go directly to Ashgate as James and myself have paid for everything, so any donations go straight to the charity."
