2 September 2015

Next Tuesday the newly-restored Chesterfield FC reserve team will play their first match of the season at home to Doncaster Rovers, and Spireites fans can watch the game for free.

The Spireites' opening game in the Final Third Development League will kick-off at 2pm at the Proact Stadium.

First team manager Dean Saunders will also be taking charge of the reserve team for the match and it is hoped that the reserve fixtures will allow players on the fringes of the first team as well as those battling their way back from injury the chance to get game time to develop them as players and increase their match sharpness.

There will be no admission charges for home fans coming to the match and they will be able to sit in the HTM Products West Stand for the game.
