The Spireites youth team came back from a two-goal half time deficit to beat York City 4-2 away from home and continue their strong recent run of form.
Second half goals from strike partners Ricky German and George Milner brought the Spireites level after the break before a Jack Brownhill flick and a second from Milner saw the Spireites pull away and claim the win.
Academy manager Mark Smith commented on to very different halves for his side - who stretched their unbeaten run to five games with the result.
"We were struggling in the first half and too many players were having off days," he said. "But the lads deserve full credit for coming back from 2-0 down.
"We changed things a little bit at half time, we moved into a 4-4-2 formation and showed greater physicality and with more intensity and that saw us score the four goals.
"I thought we were trying to play them at football in the first half, when we needed to impose our game on them. We play with a high tempo and are in the opposition's faces and then play football when we get the chance.
"We didn't do that in the first half and had too many players who were not quite at it, but the second half was a lot more like what we're about."
