Marathon maniac Russ Winfield this afternoon visited the Proact Stadium on his long quest to run to each Football League ground in England.
Spireites manager Dean Saunders was there to welcome Russ to his 77th ground as he heads closer towards his 92nd and final destination at Carlisle United's Brunton Park next month.
Russ is raising money for MacMillan and Great Ormand Street Hospital in recognition of the help his family have received from the charities in the past.
The former policeman's arrival at the home of the Spireites came at the end of his 55th marathon since leaving Swansea's Liberty Stadium.
After meeting Russ and hearing his story manager Saunders was blown away by the 54-year-old's ongoing achievement: "It's just unbelievable what he's doing and he told me he's clocked nearly 1,500 miles already.
"It was great to chat to him and hear about all he's going through to achieve his target - I wish him all the best, because he's still got a long way to go!"
