Looking to continue their run at the top of the league, the youth team are aiming for another win but an improved performance when they host Hartlepool United on Saturday.
The match, which kicks-off at 12pm at Langer Lane in Chesterfield, comes off the back of the youth team's 3-0 win over Lincoln City on Tuesday.
However, coach Mark Smith felt his players underperformed in the match and is looking for a response against the Pools.
"We've just given them little reminders of where they need to be at," said Smith. "Just advice that we try to pass on all the time. I didn't really think that we've been at it for the past four or five games like we were early doors.
"We've had a meeting this morning and asked the players what they thought about the poor performances. One of the big words that came out was 'complacency'.
"Sometimes they think that they can just turn up and win the game but we're trying to get across to them that there needs to be a performance element to go with it - it's the performances that will earn them professional contracts or first team selection.
"We see Hartlepool as a game where we can get back on track. What I'm looking for tomorrow is that we get back to the intensity of where we were before."
