The Chesterfield youth team kept up their incredible run of form as they came from behind and beat Notts County 3-1 to stay top of the league.
Conceding an early goal did little to dent the Spireites' confidence as Jake Beesley, Jordan Walshaw and Laurence Maguire quickly struck back to give the visitors a 3-1 lead that they would hold until the match's conclusion.
After the game, youth team coach Mark Smith spoke about his side's performance and his side's mentality.
"We expected a tough game and we got one," he said. "We conceded first and if we weren't on such a winning streak we might have struggled. But we've done it all season, we tend not to panic and we wait for our chance.
"We didn't start well and then conceded a poor goal, but I wasn't too worried on the sideline. We made a little change to the style of play and managed to nick a goal straight away and then get two more in quick succession which actually killed the game off.
"Then in the second half we had some chances, Beesley hit the post and we kept them at arm's length, even though they had a lot of the ball and I thought we eventually ran out comfortable winners."
The team now moves on to play a home match with Lincoln City tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, with all supporters welcome to attend the match, which kicks-off at 12pm at Langer Lane.
"All I keep saying to them now is that the finishing post is getting clearer and clearer and that they know what they've got to do - they just need to go and do it.
"We're not going to change our style and we're not going to change our system as such. It's a tried and tested one that works for us. I don't need to do team talks now, I just tell them the team, we've worked on all the things we need to work on, they just need to go out and win.
"If anything's happening within the game where we can help out then that's what we're there to do, but generally they're able to sort themselves out at the moment."
