22 March 2015

Over 2,500 tickets have already been sold as the Proact Stadium plays host to the England U17s as they take on Slovenia U17s on Monday night.

The match represents the second time the young lions have travelled to North Derbyshire this season as back in August England took on Portugal at the Proact.

However, the Under 17s will be hoping for a better result than the 2-1 defeat they suffered that evening.

The match is part of the Elite Round Qualifiers, with the qualifying teams going on to play in the 2015 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, which takes place in Bulgaria in May this year.

The England Under 17s squad romped through the First Round Qualifiers with a 100 per cent record back in October, defeating Cyprus, Macedonia and France.
Now they face Norway, Slovenia and Romania in the Elite Round Qualifiers, with the top two placed sides out of the group of four sealing a place at the showpiece tournament in Bulgaria this coming May.

All fans are welcome to come to the Proact for the match. Tickets are priced at just £3 for adults and £1.50 for concessions (those aged 18 and under/65 and over).

The concession rate is also available to season ticket holders and membership card holders. Tickets can be purchased on the night.

Tickets for the match at Chesterfield, are still available online at or by calling 01246 488232.
