England U17 manager John Peacock praised hosts Chesterfield after his side visited the Proact Stadium on Monday night for a European Championship Qualifier.
The Young Lions ran out 3-1 winners over Slovenia U17s thanks to first half strikes from Reece Oxford, Nathan Holland and an own goal, and after the match Peacock spoke about his evening in North Derbyshire.
He said: "It was great, we always enjoy coming to Chesterfield, we get great support and the crowd were fantastic tonight. Thankfully we gave them some goals to shout about which was good and hopefully we can get back here again in the not too distant future.
"The facilities are excellent and the pitch here is in good condition for this time of year. The stadium is excellent, the crowd's been great and we won, so we can't be too disappointed."
A crowd of 3,126 were at the game and saw a win that ensures England U17s have now safely booked their place at the European Championships in Bulgaria in May, and Peacock was happy to get qualification secured with a match to spare.
"I'm very pleased with the result," he said. "We can now qualify from the first two games which is very good news.
"It could have been a better performance if I'm honest but I think we'll take the result and worry about the performance later and talk about it."
