After receiving feedback from supporters, it has been decided that the revamped matchday programme for the 2015/16 season will be named 'Spire Writes'.Fans were invited to make their suggestions and it soon became clear that Spire Writes was the overwhelming choice. The name has actually been used previously, back in the 2000/2001 season.
The new-look publication will be perfect bound and feature more pages than before with less adverts.
Programme editor Nick Johnson said: "We received a great response when we put out the request for suggestions and Spire Writes was put forward more than any other name so it seemed the obvious choice. 'An Hour and a Half with my Blue & White Scarf' probably takes the award for the most creative name!
"I have been making plans for the programme content over the last few weeks and some new features will be introduced which I am sure will be well received."
Due to a number of people proposing Spire Writes, it has been decided that two programme subscriptions for the forthcoming season will be given away as prizes. Congratulations to the two winners, Andy Brown and Luke McGowan, who were chosen at random from the list of those who went for Spire Writes.
Thank you to all those who took the time to get in touch.
