Events manager Paul Watts is delighted with the response received to the refurbished lounges at the Proact.
The DCJ Spire Restaurant, Brampton Brewery 1866 Lounge and Club Taxis Vice Presidents Suite have all been re-decorated and smart new furniture is in place. They were in use for the first time for the home friendly against Hull City on Tuesday evening.
Watts said: "The feedback has been very positive with people commenting on how good the lounges look. We are now serving bar snack to members in the Brampton Brewery 1866 Lounge and that has proved to be a very popular move. I think a lot of people will come to the game earlier now and enjoy a snack while watching the live game on TV before kick-off."
The installation of the new Bottoms Up lager pumps on the Karen Child Stand concourse has also gone down very well with supporters. "The new pumps allow us to serve drinks rapidly, filling up four pints in six seconds, which will significantly cut down waiting time. We are always looking at ways of improving the service we offer and this is an innovative system which will, I am sure, prove to be very popular with our fans."
