The Chesterfield first team shirt will sport the MD Vision logo on the back this season following the agreement of a long-term, six-figure deal.
Chesterfield's head of commercial & marketing, Kevin Fitzgerald, is delighted with the deal. He said: "It’s a record-breaking deal for the football club for this particular type of sponsorship.
“Tony Ford and MD Vision are no strangers to the club with them already being our official digital partner. After working closely with them with regard to the installation of the stadium's giant screen.
"Since the installation of the giant screen we have formed a fantastic working relationship, introducing them to other football clubs and organisations who have now placed orders with them. We hope to have some exciting news in a couple of weeks time on another exciting project that we are working on that will benefit the club.”
Tony Ford, head of commercial at MD Designs, gave his reaction to the news, saying: "We're very excited about signing a five-year sponsorship agreement with Chesterfield Football Club.
"We were introduced to the club through the sale of the big video screen here and we've enjoyed the relationship over the last six months so much that we've decided to make it a much longer one.
"Although we're based a long way away in Redhill in Surrey we're really excited and of course it means there is a whole new bunch of Spireites supporters in Redhill!
"The agreement gives us a higher profile in sport, it enhances our brand in the sports world and it cements a long-term relationship with the club, which is great.
"It also shows that there is commercial interest in the club around the country. We were pleased with how the club performed last season and so now everyone at the company is really behind the club and the deal."
