For the second week in a row, the youth team's match scheduled for Saturday morning has fallen foul of the whether and has been postponed. The game with Grimsby Town was due to take place at Staveley MWFC's Inkersall Road ground, but the week's heavy snowfall has left the pitch unplayable.
Upon finding out that the match was once again called off, youth team coach Mark Smith voiced his frustration.
"It is beginning to get on all of our nerves now," said Smith. "We can't move forwards at the moment.
"It is frustrating, but there's not much we can do about it. It disrupts everything - we can't train properly as we haven't got the right facilities in this weather and it's frustrating not to have a game to look forward to at the end of the week.
"There's not much we can do as everywhere in the area is out of commission, so it's a case of coming in tomorrow to go to the gym and then watch the first team game if it's on in the afternoon.
"We'll then have another look on Monday and see how conditions are and then take it from there."
