This Saturday the Spireites welcome Port Vale to the Proact Stadium for Ernie Moss Day.
The club and its fans will be paying tribute to the Spireites all-time leading goalscorer, who scored 191 goals in three different spells with the Blues.
Ernie sufferers from Pick's disease, a rare type of dementia, and the Proact will be celebrating his career in the match with another of his former clubs, Port Vale.
As well as bucket collections outside the ground, limited edition Ernie Moss badges will be on sale raising money for charities tackling Alzheimer's and dementia, so make sure you get your hands one, because the money will be going to a great cause.
The badges are available from the Club Superstore for a minimum donation of £3 and Ernie himself will be presented with the first of the 750 that will be made available.
Inside the ground Brampton Brewery will be premièring their new 'Ernie 8' ale, made especially for the occasion and former players will be on hand to celebrate all that Ernie means to the club and town.
The Spireites currently sit seventh in the table with their Staffordshire rivals just below them in eighth position - and both sides have the chance of getting into the pay-off places with a win.
Ex-Spireite Rob Page brings his Port Vale side who have momentum from their victory in their last match against Gillingham at Vale Park, but with the Spireites' dramatic fight back at Scunthorpe United on Tuesday night will see both sides raring to go.
So come down and get behind Ernie and the team as they try and push on to the play-offs, let's #packtheproact!
