Mani Dieseruvwe's loan deal from Sheffield Wednesday has been made permanent as manager Paul Cook looks to bolster his side's attack.Dieseruvwe initially arrived at the Proact Stadium in January on a month's loan and has now been handed an 18-month contract with the Spireites.
The 19-year-old striker made his debut coming off the bench at Swindon Town and has done enough to convince Cook that he should be factored into future Spireites plans.
Speaking about his latest signing on a frenetic transfer deadline day, Cook outlined the reasons behind making Dieseruvwe's signing long term.
Cook said: "We're delighted to have Mani with us permanently now. He has power and pace and that's exactly what a lot of teams are looking for to play in today's game.
"Mani's shown great signs in training and we're really excited to see what he'll be able to do with our team going forward."
