Chesterfield enter the DCFA Senior Challenge Cup tomorrow in the third round stage with a tricky tie away at Glossop North End.
The match at Glossop's Arthur Goldthorpe Stadium kicks-off at 7:45pm with away supporters welcome to attend, although ticket prices have yet to be confirmed.
With bad weather anticipated ahead of the game we will keep fans informed of any postponement on social media if and when it reaches the Proact.
Coach Mark Crossley will be in charge for the match at the team that ended the Spireites' Derbyshire Cup run last season.
"We're putting a strong team out," he said. "It's important that the lads who haven't been playing get 90 minutes, or as long as possible.
"We're taking it very seriously, and we want to go out and win the game. It's a chance for the lads to go out and impress and put themselves in contention for Saturday's game at Bury.
"We just get on with it, if the pitch or the weather is bad we just have to show the right attitude and make sure we do things properly, otherwise it's not worth going.
"There's a lot of talent at the football club, we've seen it progress through since pre-season and we've seen lads become with the first team and work with them on the training ground and play well in the reserves.
"Players like Rai Simons and Jake Orrell have shown what they can do, now hopefully they'll be able to come through and in the future play a lot of games for this club."
