After picking up his tenth booking of the season at Walsall on Tuesday, Sam Morsy will now miss the Spireites' next two matches through suspension.

The automatic ban will see Morsy miss Saturday's home match with Bradford City and the Boxing Day trip to Peterborough United.

The deadline for one-match suspensions handed out for five bookings has now passed, but any player receiving ten cautions will be subject to an automatic two-game ban until that deadline passes in March.

Currently, defender Ian Evatt remains the Spireite in most danger of joining Morsy in being handed this ban, having accrued eight yellow cards so far this season.
