With the 2015/16 season seeing changes in the hospitality set-up at the Proact, one member talked about how the changes will affect her on a Spireites matchday.

Denise James has in recent seasons been a hospitality member in the Leensgate Legends Lounge, but will now be moving to the 1866 Club Lounge at the other end of the HTM Products West Stand.

"Me and my sister are going to go into the 1866 Club Lounge," she said. "I think it's going to be a nice atmosphere, with all our friends together with a nice bar.

"There's going to be more service on the bar so we can get drinks throughout the game and at half time - and there's going to be a nice menu as well, from lasagne to beef burgers, so I think it'll be a good move.

"We do have to move seats from one side to the other, but I see it as being nearer to the Kop, so there might be a better atmosphere. We're going to be sat with the same people we know, so it's going to be the same, just the opposite end of the stand."

Kevin Fitzgerald, head of commercial and marketing at the club, explained the thinking behind the changes to the suites.

He said: "It's fantastic news, it will open the lounges up to everyone connected with the football club, from season ticket holders to corporate clients now able to experience the lounges from next season.

"It's going to increase the capacities upstairs, which means more money for the football club.

"We have had some negative reaction to the changes, but mainly it's been very pleasing and we've had a lot of people signing up for next season's packages."
