The Chesterfield youth team make the short trip to Scunthorpe United tomorrow morning for an 11am top-of-the-table clash with the Iron.
The young Spireites currently sit second in the league table and will be looking to climb even higher and above their Lincolnshire rivals, who are top, on Saturday.
Youth team manager Mark Smith was relishing the opportunity, but knows that gaining another victory will be far from easy.
He said: "It's a chance for us to keep our run going and we'll have to be a little bit careful because we've only played them quite recently. We beat them then, so they'll be looking for revenge. We'll need to be ready for them.
"We've got some decent players at the moment and they're doing okay. Are they flashes in the pan or are they going to kick on? That's what we're looking at.
